If you are looking for Midwifery Care in the BowValley for home birth, hospital birth or birth centre birth the Shifra Centre located in Cochrane serves the Bow Valley.
*The Shifra Centre Midwifes will attend a home birth in the Bow Valley, but all clinic appointments are done in Cochrane.
*Water births are currently not allowed in Canmore Hospital
*Banff Hospital doesn’t have a maternity ward
*The Shifra Centre Midwifes have birthing rights at Foot Hills Hospital, RockyView Hospital and the Birthing Center in Calgary which you are allowed to have a birth pool set up for labouring and/or birthing
